Terms and conditions of the online store

§1 General provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules for using the online service of S-Lion sp. z o.o., available at www.s-lion.eu.
  2. The operator of the online store is S-Lion spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, headquartered in Wrocław, at Tarnopol 14/2, NIP: 8943242784, KRS: 0001124407, REGON: 529504225.
  3. Contact with the Operator is possible via phone at +48 5 3008 3000 or via email at info@s-lion.eu.
  4. The store sells metal manholes and fulfills orders within Poland and the entire European Union.

§2 Definitions

  1. Store – the online platform allowing the purchase of products offered by the Seller.
  2. Buyer – an individual, legal entity, or organizational unit making purchases in the Store.
  3. Seller – S-Lion spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością.
  4. Product – metal manholes offered in the Store.

§3 Terms for Placing Orders

  1. Orders are accepted electronically or via email.
  2. Buyers can place orders 24/7, except during technical maintenance.
  3. To place an order, the Buyer must:
    • Select a product and add it to the cart;
    • Complete the order form;
    • Accept these Terms and Conditions.
  4. Order fulfillment requires full prepayment to the specified bank account or through payment systems available on the website (Przelewy24, PayU, PayPal).

§4 Prices and Payments

  1. All prices listed in the store are gross prices.
  2. The Buyer can make payments via:
    • Bank transfer.
    • Online payment systems.

§5 Delivery and Order Fulfillment

  1. Orders are fulfilled within the timeframe specified in the offer.
  2. Deliveries are handled by external courier companies, such as FedEx, DPD, UPS, DHL, Rohlig SUUS, and others.
  3. The costs and order fulfillment times are specified in the Shipping Policy. The standard delivery time is between 2 to 7 business days (in some countries, delivery may take longer).

§6 Product Return Policy

  1. Product returns from legal entities are not accepted unless otherwise agreed.
  2. Custom-made products cannot be returned unless a manufacturing defect is revealed.
  3. Returns are accepted only in the original packaging or equivalent. Products shipped on pallets must be returned on pallets.
  4. If the Buyer improperly packages the product, any damage costs will be deducted from the refund.
  5. In the Event of Failure to Collect the Product The Buyer is required to cover:
    • The costs of returning the product to the Seller, which correspond to the costs specified in the offer;
    • Any additional fees charged by the courier company related to the failure to collect the shipment.
  6. Refunds for returned products are issued only after the Seller receives and verifies the product’s condition. Verification takes up to 7 business days.
  7. Refunds are issued after deducting the return costs specified in the order, except in cases where the Buyer exercises the right of withdrawal within 14 days.

§7 Rules for Custom-Made Products

  1. Custom-made products (e.g., with unusual dimensions or specifications) must be confirmed by the Buyer before production begins. Confirmation can be made in writing (e.g., via email). Payment for custom-made orders also confirms the order’s execution.
  2. Custom-made products cannot be returned unless a manufacturing defect is revealed.
  3. If a custom-made order is canceled after production begins, the Buyer must cover the costs incurred until cancellation.

§8 Right of Withdrawal

  1. Buyers who are consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without providing a reason. This return option applies only to products that are not custom-made or made to specific dimensions.
  2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must:
    • Submit a statement in writing or via email;
    • Return the product to the Seller in an undamaged condition.
  3. The Seller, in the event of withdrawal from the contract:
    • Refunds the full value of the order to the Buyer, including the standard delivery costs specified in the order;
    • Does not refund the costs of express delivery if such an option was chosen by the Buyer.
  4. The costs of returning the product to the Seller are borne by the Buyer.
  5. Refunds are issued to the indicated bank account or card (if the refund to the card is possible via the online payment system) within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

§9 Complaints

  1. Complaints regarding products can be submitted electronically to the email address info@s-lion.eu, in writing to the seller’s registered address, or in any other form chosen by the consumer.
  2. Complaints related to damage during transportation can be reported within 14 days of receiving the product. To expedite the complaint resolution process, it is recommended to include photographs documenting the damage; however, their absence does not exclude the possibility of processing the complaint.
  3. The seller is responsible for damages incurred during transportation until the product is handed over to the consumer, in accordance with Article 548 §1 of the Civil Code.
  4. The seller commits to resolving the complaint within 14 days from the date of submission. If resolving the complaint requires additional arrangements, the consumer will be informed about any extension of the deadline, along with the reasons for the delay.
  5. Complaints may be resolved through:
    • Repair of the product,
    • Replacement of the product with a new one,
    • Refund of part or all of the costs incurred (in the case of justified claims by the consumer),
    • Price reduction in the case of minor defects in the product.

§10 Final Provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions come into force on December 12, 2024, and remain valid until further notice.
  2. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in the event of legal changes or changes to the Store’s operation.
  3. Matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law and EU directives, particularly the Civil Code and EU consumer rights directives.
